To Justin: How to flash unpacked firmware: 1. Inside: AndroidTool_Release_v2.3 - tool for reflashing, DriverAssitant - tool to install drivers and firmware parts (kernel, recovery, boot, etc..). 2. If it first time, you need to install drivers use DriverAssitant or manual when connecting device 3. Run AndroidTool_Release_v2.3/AndroidTool.exe 4. Find recovery button on device, press and hold it. 5. Connect device to PC via USB OTG port (UT3: single port on right side, UM3: left port), and power on device (for UT3, UM3 will start when you connect USB cable) 6. PC will found new device and install drivers (or you need install it manually), then you may release recovery button. 7. Press Run button in AndroidTool_Release_v2.3 and wait end of process. - If you need update your device without full reflash, uncheck "parameter" and "misc". Partitions size will not de updated.

Okay, more info. When I look at the alpha version of this firmware form my UT3S the filename is Image-UT3S_5.1_3.0.0.a.zip and this contains one .img file. The beta version seems to just be Android and is called UT3S_android_5.1_3.0.0.b.7z and contains may .img files. Is there a full firmware version like with the alpha, as that seemed to work on mine. Alternatively we need instructions on how to just update Android only.

I'm having the same issue as Peter. When I open the Android Tool I get Found One Loader option. When I go to Upgrade Firmware, I'm not sure which file to pick for .img. I then get Loading Firmware Failed! when picking one of the .img files. How do you restart using bootloader mode? Can you provide clearer instructions or a YouTube video walkthru of who to upgrade firmware

Trying to upgrade my Ugoos UT3S to Android 5.1.1. I read the firmware upgrade guide, but the downloaded ZIP contains many image files: boot.img, kernel.img, misc.img, pcba_small_misc.img, pcba_whole_misc.img, recovery.img, resource.img, system.img. There is no dual_boot image as shown in the guide. So which image to choose? An updated guide for Android 5.1.1 would really help. Thanks, Peter

ACE player does not work on 5.1, when you start watching the video - the program closes. It is very necessary to view the torrent TV. Sorrowfully.

hm cannot download firmware... private link?

Would it be possible to add a support for USB audio bypass from our UT3s devices directly to D/A converter without any processing inside the UT3s? Many of us wantto use ut3s a hifi audio source and that means that audio bypass option is essential. Thank you guys for your work ae all appreciate it!
