New RockChip3399 gives incredible abilities for mobile platforms and mini PC devices. Rockchip has unveiled the RK3399 processor back at CES 2016 and this SoC now becomes a heart for new Chromebooks performed by ASUS.
As you can see from the specs this is our first Branded TV Box with SATA port and HDD holder. Device will able to connect 2.5 and 3.5 inch hard drives.

As you can see, we built small OLED screen in order to display status messages and some additional information. USB type-C port we placed on front panel for more convenience.
Test results of UT5 PCBA with Ugoos firmware will be a little bit later, now you can check unnamed boards’ tests on Geekbench

Ugoos UT5 will be presented on CES 2017 in Las Vegas next January. Everybody will be able to test device and left quote for pre-order. Pre-order is also available on Ugoos website.

Hello, I hope this time a decent and proper fully informative software install/hardware USER MANUAL in a normal readable format will be added in the UT5 box? I have bought the UT4 version and that little leaflet user manual is truly a joke. Btw: i have not used the UT4 unit for what it is meant for because of serious harware/software error issues. Power on/off problems / the basic 2 launchers and android system does not keep the Kodi/exodus/XBMC downloaded files/add-ons and icons stable. Need to re-download the sw frequently. A pain in the @ss ;) Xmas/Ny

I've found an expected price in the ugoos USA website - it might be a place holder but... $349??? F that! I can buy a decent i3 or i5 laptop and dedicate that as a TV box and be better off! Drop the stupid and useless AMOLED screen and drop the price by $150!!
