Will devices connect Wireless?

Ugoos devices can connect LAN either via Ethernet (except dongles) or using Wi-Fi. Bluetooth also can be a wireless way to connect accessories or other devices.

Wi-Fi. Ugoos devices have built-in Wi-Fi , so it connects to standard home Wi-Fi networks over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. During setup you just select your network from the list and enter the password. For streaming, connecting to the 5 GHz band gives you better speed and less interference.

Bluetooth. It also has Bluetooth, used to pair the remotes or other accessories like game controllers, keyboards, headphones, or speakers.

A few practical notes:

• Wired is still an option. Most of boxes have a gigabit Ethernet port, so if Wi-Fi is unstable or you're streaming high-bitrate 4K content, a wired connection is more reliable. 
• Firmware relevance. For heavy loads like large file transfers over the Samba server, Wi-Fi works but a wired connection performs noticeably better and faster.
• VPN. Recent Ugoos firmware even shows a VPN status icon and network names in the hardware monitor and top panel, so VPN-over-Wi-Fi setups are supported too.
